Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Coordinator to join a busy and friendly team on a maternity cover contract for approximately 9 months.

This is a fast-paced and varied role that offers full training and the opportunity to work within a supportive team environment.

• £14.35 per hour
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm
• On-site parking available
• Must be available to start within the next two weeks
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential

Key responsibilities:

• Acting as the first point of contact for customers via telephone and email
• Monitoring and updating internal systems to ensure all requests and tasks are managed accurately and efficiently
• Coordinating and allocating requests to the appropriate teams and departments
• Prioritising urgent requests and ensuring they are dealt with in a timely manner
• Liaising with internal colleagues and external contacts to ensure a high level of customer service is maintained
• Monitoring progress and providing updates to customers where required
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring information is kept up to date

Skills & experience required:

• Previous experience in a customer service, scheduling, coordination, or administration role
• Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage and prioritise workloads effectively
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Professional and confident telephone manner
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
