Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Document Controller to join a leading construction contractor delivering high-profile build projects across London and the South East.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and proactive document control professional with extensive experience managing project documentation on major construction developments. The successful candidate must have strong working knowledge of Viewpoint/4Projects and Aconex and a proven background within the building/construction sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain document control procedures in line with company and client requirements.
• Administer and manage document management systems including Viewpoint/4Projects and Aconex.
• Ensure all drawings, technical submissions, RFIs, specifications and project documentation are accurately distributed and archived.
• Control document revisions and maintain document registers.
• Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, consultants and clients regarding document control matters.
• Monitor workflows and ensure documentation is issued and approved within required timescales.
• Produce regular reports on document status, overdue responses and project compliance.
• Support project teams in maintaining quality standards and audit requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Document Controller within the construction/build industry.
• Strong working knowledge of Viewpoint/4Projects and Aconex is essential.
• Experience working on large-scale build projects such as commercial, residential, mixed-use, healthcare, education or major infrastructure developments.
• Excellent understanding of document control procedures and ISO standards.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple project priorities.
