Warehouse Operative – Picking & Packing

Location: Luton, LU3
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Contract: Full-time permanent contract after 12 weeks, subject to performance

We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and well-established company based in the LU3 area of Luton.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced warehouse candidates looking for a long-term role with the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

The Role

You will be working within a busy warehouse environment, carrying out picking and packing duties involving chilled food products.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Picking orders accurately and efficiently
• Packing products ready for dispatch
• Checking quantities and product details
• Following warehouse procedures and health & safety requirements
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
• Working as part of a team to meet daily targets
• Working within a chilled environment

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Strong previous picking and packing experience
• Previous warehouse experience
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• The ability to work at pace and meet targets
• A reliable and hardworking attitude
• Good attendance and timekeeping
• A proven stable employment history and good longevity in previous roles
• The ability and willingness to work in a chilled environment
• A genuine interest in securing a long-term position
