📍Location: Hemel Hempstead
⏰Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm (30-minute lunch break)
💷Hourly Rate: £14.00 per hour
📆Start Date/Duration: ASAP - until Friday 18th December

The Role:

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive SENCO Administrator to provide essential administrative support. This is a busy and rewarding role requiring excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the SENCO team.
• Chase teachers and staff members to ensure required paperwork and documentation is completed within deadlines.
• Gather and monitor timelines for annual reviews, ensuring all key dates are tracked accurately.
• Send holding emails and correspondence to parents, staff, and external agencies as required.
• Provide parents with progress updates and communications regarding SEN processes.
• Maintain accurate records and update tracking systems and spreadsheets.
• Manage inboxes, respond to routine enquiries, and escalate issues where necessary.
• Ensure all documentation is compliant, up to date, and filed correctly.
• Support with general administrative duties as required.

Essential experience:

• Must have a DBS on the update service
• Previous recent office-based experience in a school setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment
