Developing electronic assemblies incorporating low- and high-power DC systems.
Designing and evaluating power electronics, circuit protection and electronic components.
Carrying out circuit analysis, testing, debugging and fault investigation.
Developing electronic designs from requirements through to verification and integration.
Producing technical documentation, including design specifications, trade studies, test reports and compliance evidence.
Supporting engineering design reviews and working within structured development processes.
Collaborating with mechanical, systems, manufacturing and test engineers to deliver integrated solutions.
Supporting engineering changes and resolving technical issues during development and production.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
HND, degree or equivalent relevant qualification in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
Practical experience in electronic circuit design and development.
Strong understanding of analogue and digital electronics.
Hands-on experience with schematic capture and PCB design.
Experience using Altium Designer, OrCAD or comparable electronic design software.
Knowledge of power electronics, DC power systems or electronic circuit protection.
Experience testing, troubleshooting and debugging electronic hardware.
Ability to produce accurate engineering documentation and work independently on technical tasks.
Desirable:
Experience in defence, aerospace, automotive or other regulated engineering environments.
Familiarity with EMC requirements, environmental testing or design verification.
Experience developing electronic hardware from concept through to production.
Knowledge of engineering change control and configuration management.
Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
