Job Description:

Atheray Stone are currently looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading infrastructure contractor working across the M25 corridor. This role offers a flexible working arrangement, with a mix of site-based work, office attendance in either Hatfield or Dartford, and home working.

You'll be responsible for:

• Managing project costs, forecasting, and financial performance
• Supporting subcontract procurement and ongoing commercial management
• Administering NEC contracts, including change control and payments
• Identifying and managing risks, opportunities, and variations
• Producing monthly reporting, including CVR and progress updates
• Supporting the resolution of commercial challenges and queries

You'll bring:

• Experience in a Quantity Surveying role within civil engineering or infrastructure
• Strong commercial awareness, with confidence managing costs and reporting on project performance
• A proactive, organised approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across teams
• A good understanding of NEC contracts (essential)
• Experience in highways or infrastructure environments (preferred)
• A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Progress towards, or interest in, professional membership such as RICS or CICES
