Edgebander Operator
Letchworth | Full Time | Day Shift | £13.50 per hour | Temp to Perm

We're looking for an experienced Edgebander Operator to join a busy manufacturing business in the Letchworth area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong machine-operating skills to produce high-quality finished products.
Working within a fast-paced production environment, you'll ensure components are accurately edged, finished to a high standard, and ready for assembly.
  
What You'll Be Doing

• Operating and setting up edgebanding machinery
• Adjusting machine settings for different materials and specifications
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and CAD files
• Carrying out quality checks and ensuring precise measurements
• Loading, unloading and handling materials safely
• Performing routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Supporting assembly and production activities when required
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety

  
What We're Looking For

• Previous experience operating edgebanding machinery
• Strong fabrication or woodworking background
• Ability to read drawings and specifications
• Experience using hand tools and workshop equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
• A reliable, positive and team-focused attitude

Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
