Luxury Classic Car Buyer & Sales Specialist

£40,000 Basic + Bonus – £60,000 OTE
Monday–Friday + Saturday Mornings 8:00am–12:00pm

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a highly regarded specialist in the luxury classic and prestige vehicle market.

This is not your typical car sales position. We are looking for an experienced, commercially minded individual who can source and purchase their own stock, identify the right cars for the business and sell them profitably to discerning clients.

You will have the freedom to use your knowledge of the luxury classic car market to identify opportunities, negotiate purchases and manage vehicles through the entire buying and sales process.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

• Actively sourcing and purchasing luxury classic vehicles for stock
• Identifying desirable, correctly priced cars with strong resale potential
• Buying directly from private owners, collectors, specialists and trade contacts
• Appraising vehicles and assessing provenance, history, condition and specification
• Negotiating purchases and achieving the required buying margin
• Building and maintaining a strong network of owners, collectors and industry contacts
• Managing your own stock from acquisition through to sale
• Advertising, presenting and marketing vehicles to the highest standard
• Handling enquiries and developing relationships with prospective buyers
• Negotiating sales and maximising profitability
• Keeping up to date with luxury classic vehicle values and wider market trends

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone with a genuine understanding of the luxury classic, prestige or specialist vehicle market.

Previous experience buying and selling luxury or classic vehicles would be highly advantageous, although candidates with a strong background in prestige, performance or collectible vehicles will also be considered.

You will need to be confident making commercial buying decisions, understand vehicle values and margins, and have the ability to recognise the difference between simply buying an attractive car and buying the right car at the right price.

A strong network of contacts within the classic and prestige vehicle industry would be a major advantage.

Hours & Package

• £40,000 basic salary + bonus
• £60,000 OTE
• Monday to Friday
• Saturday mornings – 8:00am to 12:00pm
