Job Description:

Contract Surveyor – £230m Data Centre Project

We are looking for an experienced Contract Surveyor to join a major £230m two-building data centre development. Must requre a Civils background. 

You will be responsible for supporting the commercial management of the project, working closely with the project and commercial teams to manage contracts, costs, procurement, subcontractors and financial reporting.

The role will involve:

• Managing subcontractor and supplier accounts.
• Preparing and managing subcontract packages and contracts.
• Reviewing applications, valuations, variations and payments.
• Monitoring project costs, forecasts and cash flow.
• Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities.
• Supporting procurement and tendering activities.
• Managing change, valuations and final accounts.
• Working closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team.
• Maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and consultants.
• Ensuring contractual and commercial obligations are properly managed.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in a commercial/surveying role on major construction projects, ideally within data centres, mission-critical, industrial or similarly complex environments.
