Are you an experienced HR Business Partner with a background in manufacturing and strong trade union experience?

We are recruiting for a Lead HR Business Partner to join a fast-paced manufacturing business, supporting two sites in Stevenage and Walthamstow.

Stevenage & Walthamstow | £65,000 - £75,000

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially focused HR professional who enjoys being hands-on, influencing senior leaders and driving positive change.

You will play a key role in shaping the people agenda, leading an HR team and supporting operational management across both sites.

Key Responsibilities of Lead HR Business Partner

• Partner with senior leaders to deliver a commercially focused HR strategy.
• Lead and develop the HR team across both sites.
• Manage complex employee relations matters and build effective trade union relationships.
• Lead union consultations and ideally pay negotiations.
• Drive employee engagement, performance, organisational change and continuous improvement.
• Support and challenge managers to improve people and business performance.

What We're Looking For – Lead HR Business Partner

• Essential experience within a manufacturing or food manufacturing environment.
• Strong HR generalist and business partnering experience, ideally across multiple sites.
• Significant trade union experience, ideally including leading pay negotiations.
• Experience managing and developing an HR team.
• Strong commercial awareness and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.
• A pragmatic, resilient and hands-on approach.

Location: You must be able to travel between Stevenage and Walthamstow and work on-site 4–5 days per week.
