Laser Programmer (Progression into Applications / Technical Support)
Circa £36,000 + Company Vehicle + Overtime + Excellent Company Benefits Package

Are you a Laser Programmer looking to step off the shop floor and become the go-to technical expert for customers, through structured development across machines, software and applications?

This is a secure, permanent position with a respected machine tool technology business where you'll be fully trained on the commercial side of applications engineering and trusted to move into technical support.

You'll work as part of an experienced engineering team, in which you will building your applications and product knowledge whilst taking more ownership of customer demo strategy and internal support.

You'll learn to support customers through application-led demonstrations, structured training courses, and programming/operator guidance, with the chance to visit blue-chip client sites.

This role suits a Laser Programmer who wants progression into a recognised applications / technical support specialist position.

The Role

• Support and deliver technical demos on advanced CNC laser and punch press systems
• Office-based with hybrid working and the chance to visit blue-chip client sites
• Provide pre- and post-sales applications support for CNC machinery

The Person

• Experienced in CNC Laser Programming
• Skilled in CNC sheet metal working and mechanical tolerances
• Holds NVQ, City & Guilds, or Degree in mechanical/production engineering
