Graduate Geoenvironmental Consultant

Salary: £26,000 - £29,000

Are you a recently graduated geologist? Looking for your first role in the Ground Investigation industry and based in the South East of England? A specialist geo-environmental consultancy based near Luton is seeking a geology, environmental science, geoscience geochemistry or earth science graduate to join their expanding team. The Graduate Geoenvironmental Consultant selected will be attending and assisting with site walkovers, carrying out site investigations, soil and rock logging, preparing phase plans and carrying out Phase 1 Desk Studies. They will also be writing factual and interpretive reports, carrying out in situ testing and focussing on training to develop skills.

The successful Graduate Geoenvironmental Consultant should have:

• A minimum of a BSc geology, environmental science, geoscience geochemistry or earth science or a relevant subject (MSc preferable).
• Be keen to learn and develop geo-environmental and geotechnical skills.
• Show enthusiasm for working outdoors in a hands-on role.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Candidates must live in or near to Luton.
• Have a full right to work in the UK.
