Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Skilled Assembly Operative to join a growing manufacturing team in Leighton Buzzard.

This role would suit someone with experience in furniture assembly, joinery, cabinet making or a similar hands-on manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will have good practical skills, strong attention to detail and take pride in producing quality work.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble products and components to the required specifications.

• Use hand tools and workshop equipment safely and effectively.

• Follow instructions and technical drawings.

• Measure, fit and align components accurately.

• Check finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.

• Maintain a clean and organised working environment.

• Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines.

Skills and Experience Required

• Previous experience in assembly, joinery, cabinet making or a similar role.

• Good practical skills and experience using hand tools.

• Experience using workshop machinery would be an advantage.

• Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

• Ability to follow instructions and work accurately.

• Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team.

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 7:30am–4:45pm

• Friday: 7:30am–4:00pm

• Morning break: 10:30am–10:45am

• Lunch break: 1:30pm–2:00pm
